Hamblen County is compact, but with about 68,000 people and the city of Morristown it is one of the busiest parts of our service area. The Hamblen County Planning Department enforces the 2018 International Residential Code in unincorporated areas, adopted by the county commission in March 2022; Morristown runs its own building inspections. The county's most damaging recent storm was a downburst on 8 May 2024 near Russellville, with an estimated 90 mph gust, according to NOAA's storm events database. It caused significant roof damage to Russellville Elementary School, structural roof damage to some homes, and roof damage to the mausoleum at Morristown Memorial Gardens. We have completed work in the county, including a low-slope leak repair in Morristown and a job in Talbott. We inspect first and give you a written estimate before any work begins.
